The Children's Resource Network of Macomb was first established in 1990 as The Macomb Young Children At-Risk Committee. It functions as an advisory committee for a variety of programs designed to meet the needs of young children at-risk and their families in Macomb County.
Specifically, the committee fulfills the following responsibilities:
• Provides a network of parents, agency, county, professional, and school personnel to address needs of at-risk children and their families.
• Serves as a link between families, services, and schools.
• Assists in the planning, development, and review of curriculum, services, and programming available to children and families.
• Acts as an advocate for at-risk children in an attempt to reach those who can impact on factors that affect families and services.
